Jeannie,

I didn't bother to check anything out, because I had received e-mails
regarding the same thing & when I saw the Snopes Url, I figured it was on
the up & up. I wouldn't be surprise if Congress doesn't pass something
sooner or later about gun control. Seems to me that a person should have
the right to have a gun & I never thought I would be living in a country
where it might even be considered against the law!! Probably no one else
will ever contact you on this matter. My friend, Wayne, however, seldom
misses anything. I sent it to him because I thought he would be interested
in it...especially being a man & I know he hunts. I was most surprised when
he wrote me back & said what he did.

I've known Wayne for nearly 10 yrs. He has been my Internet Friend. He's a
very smart man & is also a guru when it comes to computers. I cannot tell
you how many times he has helped me out when I have gotten myself in a
pinch. It's nice when I'm up late & have problems. I can always write to
Wayne & since we are on such different times, he usually writes me right
back.

Wayne, has corrected me many times on things that I have sent out in the
past. One time I sent out something to the fact that people in Congress
should pay into Social Security..he didn't waste any time in letting me know
that they did indeed pay into Social Security. I never knew that & was glad
that he let me know.

I just wanted you to know this too. I suppose I could have ignored what he
said, but if you are anything like me, you like to know what is going on &
if it's the truth.

P.S. Sorry I'm short tonight..but I have to get to bed earlier than usual.
My husband is going into the hospital at 7:00 AM tomorrow morning for
surgery on his knee. He already has 2 artificial knees..but the lock on his
right knee has started to come out. If it had gotten any worse, he wouldn't
have been able to stand. The doctor wants him admitted because he says this
is the first time that it has happened to him before & he wants to be
prepared for anything unexpected. I'm hoping he can come back home tomorrow
with me. He has been getting a cold & also has COPD. I want to be there to
talk to the anesthesiologist & let him know these things. Personally, I
don't want him to have the surgery..but my husband really wants to get it
over with.
