I have just recently discovered a lady ancestor with this last name.


Katherine 'Ann' SAURS/SOWERS born 1809 ? where; died 9 February 1847 age 38.
Buried at the Loyalist Cemetery, Butternut Ridge {now Havelock} Kings Co.,
New Brunswick Canada.

Married Stephen Wiggins BRANSCOMB 17 January 1826 Queens Co., New Brunswick
Canada.

Katherine's parents are listed as John A. SOWERS and Rhoda ELSWORTH.

Am only just starting to dig for this ancestor as this info was given to me
by a BRANSCOMB researcher. I did find a John Andrew SOWERS/SAUER listed in
the "Loyalists of New Brunswick" bye Esther Wright. It stated John Andrew
SOWERS, Germany, to St. Andrews, Charlotte Co. NB; res. St. John New
Brunswick. There were three other SOWERS listed.
