Dear Listmembers,

Can anyone tell me if Malaga was in the diocese of Granada in the 1700s? I know that civil and ecclesiastical boundaries were not always the same. And since the provinces of Granada and Malaga share a border, I am trying to find the answer to the diocese question, because it could open up research opportunities (Expedientes matrimoniales - diocese of Granada, FHL films). Thanks in advance for any help!
