Hi Denise,

Are you sure his name is Sparkes instead of Sparks. Most of the Sparks' that came to America seemed to have dropped the "e". Unless you know that he came over from England around the time your mention.

The only John Sparks I have was born in 1786 and died in 1876 NC. He was married to a lady named Elizabeth Rose.

Can you provide me with other names? I have been doing research forward and backward on the Sparks tree.
