'William Taylor, a g-uncle of my wife, was born in Scotland 1840 and,
according to family stories, had a tea plantation in Ceylon. I estimate
that he might have been there in the period 1870-1900. What route might
I persue to find info about this person's history in Ceylon. Are there
census records?
