Hello Listers,

I would appreciate to hear from anyone who could advise me how to go about
searching for the marriage records of my ancestor a British Army soldier in
the 15th Regiment of Foot stationed in Ceylon in 1853. Exact location in
unknown.

I believe the Registrar-General in Colombo should be contacted, but I hear
their records before 1900 was damaged.
