Hi Sue
Thanks for your reply my Great Grandmother was Elizabeth Perry who I think
was the daughter of John Perry and Ann Quinton and she was baptised in St
Peter or Collegiate Wolverhampton 11 July 1816 but am not sure as her age on
the 1851 & 1881 census shows about 4 years difference aawhich infers that
she was born around 1820.
Elizabeth married my GGgrandfather Edward Broadhurst in Bushbury on 25
December 1839.The Marriage certificate doesnt help as the age is shown as
full which lends me to think on the 1816 date as being correct as she would
have been under 21 when sshe married Edward
They Lived for a time in Bilston Road,Wolverhampton but she was living with
her son another Edward in Sedgley in t the 1881 census.
I have a Mary Ann Perry baptised 20 April 1813 as a sister of Elizabeth but
until I can prove I am on the right track cannot help anymore.
Regards
Terry
