I have had such great help from this list in the past and now am back and
hoping that someone can help me or tell how to go about find the right
parents



Edward Foley born C1755-1759 in Dudley married Rebecca Cooksey born 1754 in
Dudley. They married 1779 at St Thomas Dudley. I have a copy of their
marriage certificate. I am trying to find out Edwards parents.



I have found two Edwards on the IGI - 1. One Christened 3 June 1759 in
Dudley parents Edward Foley and Betty. Edward and Betty married 4 September
1755 Dudley, Worcester.



2. One christened 31 May 1756 Kingswinford, Stafford with parents Henry
Foley and Sarah. Henry and Sarah Seager married 4 May 1745 Kingswinford,
Stafford.





Edward and Rebecca's son Edward born 1783 married Mary Jones at St Thomas
Dudley in 17 September 1804.

Edward and Mary's son also called Edward was born 1818 in Kingswinford



My gut feeling is that the Dudley Foleys are the right ones but would like
something more substantial to base that on.



Any suggestions most welcome
