Is there anyone who has connections to Stanakers in MS in the mid-1800's? My
great-grandmother was Mary Elizabeth Stanaker, born in Booneville, MS 7 May
1855. She married Samuel H. Sawyer in Corinth, MS circa 1870. They left MS and
settled in Lawrence Cty. AR, where she died 28 Dec. 1937. Her death certificate
states her father was Matt Stanaker and mother was Jane ? Stanaker.
