Hi Kay,

My name is Mike Jackson and I live in Greensboro, N.C. and I need some
help. I am looking for a Louisa Jane Absher, granddaughter of Margaret
Peggy Stamper and great granddaughter of Joel Stamper. Louisa is my great
grandmother and she disappeared from Wilkes County in 1882. She was only
about 32 at the time and she left for eastern Kentucky with a man but nobody
knows what happened to her or her whereabouts. It is my guess that she went
to eastern Kentucky to be with her Stamper cousins but it is just a guess.

I would appreciate any help you can render in finding Louisa because I have
had no luck. She never appeared back in North Carolina at any time that we
can find. Thank you.
