Hi Golden:
Was hoping to hear from you again. I'm sorry about your computer, been there done that and it wasn't fun.
I'm a little disappointed to not hear from anyone with some info I can use. I get copied in on lots of conversations, but no one talks to me. I'm a direct line Stamper descendant, too. I feel like a red headed step child. So many people care about finding there ancestors, I do too especially my Stampers.
I was so excited about finding your website and hopeful that at last someone somewhere would have something they would be willing to share and who knows maybe I'd have something useful that would help someone.
I'm currently researching the following family lines: Stamper, Ferree, Gidley, Osborn(e), Shaw, Free, Maxey, Bryant, Hurt.
I've lot of info about some of these families but nothing to tie in any Stampers past my Great-Grandfather Clyde Stamper born in Illinois married twice: Amanda Osborn(e) and Edna _______.
Thanks for all your work on the Stamper-Family-Project and it is work even though it's like loving a child and watching it bloom.
Your fellow Stamper and friend
Libby (Stamper) Stewart
