I have been trying to follow the comments and questions on this issue and if
these comments and questions have already been made and answered, I
apoligize.

Comments:
First I have to admit it is much easier with pages being on the Rootsweb
server as far as changing over to new cc, getting passwords and so on.
Also with the URLs being from the same server it helps our visitors know
they are still within the USGenWeb Project.

On another note I think we should also consider having a set background
for "all pages" to help users know they are in the USGenWeb project. This
especially if sites go to different servers. The logo is great but is
usually only put on the "main page".

Questions:
Since we will now be required to have this new banner on the USGenWeb
pages, will we all, meaning anyone who stays with the "rootsweb server",
automatically become " Affiliates" of Ancestry.com, since I assume that
there will be a link on the banner?

And would we, meaning anyone who stays with the "rootsweb server", be
able to get the "full package membership" from Ancestry.com "FREE".

Thank you for your time and please pass the questions on to whoever will be
able to answer them as I feel they are important to help make informed
decisions on this matter.
