It is a considerable time since I retrieved my Jaspers file, but below is what I have recorded. I expect there will be other information in my Nicene file, but getting at it may prove difficult.

Married 17.1.1832 in Blackawton to Harriet WOOTTON - 13.12.1813 baptised Blackawton - 17.5.1891 buried Strete, Devonshire.

[Daughter of Robert and Joanna WOTTON of Street, Robert a fisherman]

[1843 - Jasper left two pounds in will of his grandfather Jasper STEER]

Dear Jack, Jane et al,
My Jasper Steer was born 30 October 1810 in Chivelstone. He died in September 1892 in Kingsbridge at Coy Pool, West Alvington. He married Harriott Wotton on January 17, 1832 in Blackawton, Devon.

Harriott Wotton was born in 1813 in Blackhawton. She died in June of 1890 in Kingsbridge at Coy Pool, W. Alvington. Is it possible that she was also known as Mary A.? It's interesting that according to the 1861 Cencus, Mary A. was also three years younger than Jasper and she was also born in Blackawton which is the same information that I have for Harriot. I know nothing about a second marriage for Jasper.

I also have these children listed for this Jaspe Steer and Harriott Wotton:

Emma b. 1854; Ann b. 1851; Anne b. 1849; John b. 1844; Elizabeth b. abt. 1846; Joseph b. ?; Harriot b. abt. 1838; Joanna b. 1840; Maria b. 1843; Jasper b. 1837; Sarah b. 1835; Mary Jane b. 1833 and Thomas b. 1832.
