Dear Phillip & John,
Here is my 2 bobs worth.
I am descended from Dorothy STEER & William FINCH. I have no record of the
name Isaac anywhere (yet) on my tree.I do have a TOTNES Finch connection
with the birth of William FINCH 1806 (s/o Nich Finch & Grace Tuckerman)

However there is another unrelated Finch family which may connect.
Isaac James FINCH b Frogmore 15.Aug 1826 (near Charleton) s/o Jacob &
Rebecca (Drewsteighton) he married am Emma (no surname) & had children
Florence 1870
Phillip 1871 Kingsbridge
Mary 1873 Kingsbridge
Elena 1876 Portlemouth. (Henry mentioned Portlemouth in will)
Do the dates fit in with Emma Vincent Steer?
