I am search for the family of William Charles Steer Abt. 1827 Plymouth - who possibly used both names [I believe] Charles while in England and his legal name William after immigration - his father was William Charles Steer 13 May 1803 Plymouth Charles, Devonshire, England - died 01 Dec 1884 14 Lambhay Hill Plymouth, England - wife Elizabeth Sophia Akirman 13 Dec 1800 Ilminster, Somerset, England.
Both Charles & Fanny - if I am right - used their legal names during and after immigration.
