Dear Jenny,

You wrote about the will of Hugh Steere of Aveton Gifford in 1665. I
think it is possible that this Hugh Steere might have been the father of
George Sture of Modbury, who was buried on 26th February 1698 at Aveton
Gifford. George Sture was married to Thomazin and they had five
children, Richard, Mary, Hugh, Sarah and George. Hugh is a rather
infrequent name amongst the Steers, so there may be a link here.
