I have an ancestor whose name was Seneca Stewart. He was probably born in
CT. around 1780 and moved to NY later in his life. Supposedly, his father's
name was Alexander Stewart and the mother's name is not known ( there were
speculations that she was Mary Hungerford, but she has no children listed as
Seneca.). Seneca was married to Catherine Dykeman, and they are both buried
in Roundtop Cemetery, near Cairo, NY.

I have no other information on the background of this family. If anyone
does, please let me know.
