Maybe the Stewarts did travel in packs of three! I hadn't
thought of it before in my line, but three Stewart brothers,
Alex, Dan, and John, left Nova Scotia in 1869 to settle in
Holdingford, Minnesota. Alex, my great-grandfather, then moved
on to Washington State where he died in 1894. John's obituary
credits him with being the first settler on "Holding's Ford."
