I am searching for the parents and siblings of a William STEWARD, b 1789
(maybe Hartford) CN. d. 1862 in Crawford Co. AR. m.abt 1817 to Phoebe
DEAN b. ? d. abt 1826 either NY or IN. Their three children were:
Harvey Steward b. 1 Jan 1818 d. 1873 Crawford Co. AR
Alexander Steward b. 1820, d 1859 in Arkansas
Darwin Steward b. 1822 d 23 Feb 1847

By 1830/31 William Steward was in Fountain Co. IN where he married
Malissa Marie Dickerson, Dau of Noah and Mary DICKERSON. Wm. and Malissa
have two children born in IN, migrated to Arkansas about 1836 where they
had seven more. If there is a connection I have more information on all
12 children.

There are 2 Alexander STEWARD'S listed on the Gildart Ship list that
arrived at Port North, Potomack, Maryland 5 August 1747. Don't know if
there is a connection.
After 23 years of looking, any clue will be appreciated. Thanks for
listening.
