Margaret, I am taken by surprise! I really don't know what to tell you as I've never
heard any indication that my Charles Stewart went by any other name. As far as I know
Mary Weaver was not married before she married Charles. Charles and she also had other
children while living in Kershaw Co., SC, - Charles Stewart b. 4 Feb 1848, Ervin Venard
Stewart b. 9 Feb. 1849, Andy Stewart b. 1853, and Mary Stewart b. 12 Mar 1855. Charles
Stewart and his family came to Clarke Co., AL, with another ancestor of mine James C.
Rush who was married to Martha Ann Weaver, Mary's sister. Several Weavers appeared on
the Clarke Co., AL census records. It's possible that your James McDaniel and his wife
Mary Weaver moved to Clarke Co., also. Have you checked into this possibility? Let me
know if I can be of further assistance. Thanks for the reply.

Joyce
