My name is Carol and I have just joined the list. My interest is
in STEWART's who were residents of
Allegheny City, PA (Pgh's present North Side) and whose earliest PA
ancestor's were from Ireland.
I have yet to find the county of origin in Ireland but may be safe in
presuming my ancestors were Ulster Scots since they were strong
Presbyterians. My family immigrated in 1848. I would like to find
siblings of the immigrant ancestor, William H. Stewart, who was born
in 1825.

I also am doing research on Stewart family in Same area ,So far striking
out everywhere I've tried. I'm tracing a Alfred Stewart born in 1898 in
Allegany w/ a father of Lon Stewart heresay says him/his father came from
