I'm working on a line of this family that went to Adams Co, PA. My ancestor,
Robert, went from Adams/York Co to Blair/Huntingdon Co. PA ca 1770-80 with a
group of Scots, all from Adams/York Co.

I think my Robert's father was a John. Could he have been the John, s of
Samuel, who m. Janet? Or a nephew of John? Is this the John who died at the
battle of Germantown?

My Robert married Margaret Eddy (or Edie). There was a John Edie in
York/Adams area the same time as John Stewart. All of Robert's children
reflect these same family names.

Do you have a list of John's children????
