Hello Everyone:

I have recently changed to the digest version of this list.
Doing so has made something stand out a bit more for
me.

I was wondering if perhaps we all could take a look at the
items we leave attached to the messages we reply to on
the list? I find that I sometimes receive a message in the
digest along with a reply, or several, that leave the entire
first message attached. This takes up a lot of space. Also,
most of us have been on the list long enough to have had
the message and will recognize it when you reply. It is nice
when a line or a few select lines are left as part of the reply
to make it clear what is being responded to.

And also, perhaps those of us on the digest should be
mindful of changing the subject line from "digest # xxx"
to the subject of our message so those not getting the
digest will have a clue what the content may be.
