Hello Lavonne,

Looking for a Mary Stuart/Stewart/Steward is akin to looking for one of the
William/John/James Stewarts and I don't envy you! And I myself am only
adding to the confusion of my great-grandchildren no doubt...

My source, which is the Stewart Clan Magazine, doesn't have any sign of this
family I'm afraid, though the name Jesse is unusual enough that it should be
the one you look for, even without the added incentive that he is your
ancestor. The other names are so common, there's no sense trying for them.
Andrew's wife of course may not be a Stuart, that may simply be her married
name, but a look through my Index of Spouses revealed no Mary Foster, the
first guess.

Here are the Jesse's:

Please check on my website http://users.hol.gr/~mkyritsi/ for all the
Indexes, plus explanations of the pagination and where you can find the
complete run. If you ever get a hint as to where your Andrew was living, a
look at the Index of Places might be productive to see who else might have
lived in the area.

Good luck,
Mary
