Hi -

I have gotten some addition information on my Stewarts so I thought I would
post and see if anyone knows anything about this man...

James Jonathan STEWART born 1833 in Crawfordsville IN. Married Mary ALBERSON
and they had 9 children

Samuel Matthew STEWART
Maria Eliza Rosetta (Ida) STEWART (WEAVER)
Elizabeth Sarah Ellen STEWART (EADES)
Albert Jefferson Valandinghorn STEWART
Emma Josephine STEWART
Andrew Johnson STEWART (m EILENSTEIN)
Edward Newton STEWART (m SING)
Charley Franklin STEWART
baby STEWART

The Valandinghorn is an unusual middle name so I checked and there was a
family in IN/KY at around the same time named VALLANDINGHAM/VALLANDIGHAM/VAN
LANDIGHEM/VAN LANDINGHAM (all the same line) so I am checking to see if this
is possibly connected. Does anyone have this name in their STEWART line?

After Mary's death James went to MO with all of the grown children and married
Jame (or Jane or Mary J) WILSON (or WILSSON) in 1879. they had five
daughters:

Bertha STEWART (LAYMAN)
Minnie Alice STEWART (KINCHELOE)
Clara Jame STEWART (EILENSTEIN)
Laura Ona STEWART (BARNETT)
Lucy Margaret STEWART

Any information on James Jonathan STEWART's family of origin would be so
appreciated...thank you.
