Hello Gay and Stewarts all,
They are one and the same. The CSSA, of which I am a member, is
organized primarily to promote knowledge concerning Clan Stewart and
Scottish history and maintain relations with the Stewart Society of
Edinborough. They are very active in supporting Highland Games and
Scottish gatherings throughout the US and beyond. Nothing like the
wearin o' the tartan to take us back to our roots. They can be very
helpful with ancient history and genealogy, once you get to the right
person.
Mr. M.M.Stewart was the membership committee chairman but retired last
year. Currently the same is:
Secretary Ronald A. Stewart, FSA Scot,
P.O. Box 916,
Bryant, AR 72089
Membership is very reasonable and the Games are great!
The web address is:
http://www.tartans.com/
Then click Great Hall to go to the various clan sites.
Will be away from the computer for a couple of days but will be in
touch with everyone as soon as I return.
Cousin
Ernie
