Say, your little phrase "me thinks" reminds me of something my grandfather
said about his grandfather. He said that he he used the "me" freequently
instead of "I" as in, "Come her me son." And he also used the word "kiver" for
the word "cover". This family was from the Smoky mountains in the early
1800's. Are these words indicative of Scotch, Irish or the Scotch-Irish or
English, or all of the above? Anybody know for sure??
