I am looking for any info on Honorable or Colonel (maybe both) James
Stewart b:11-11-1775 d: 12-29-1821, Buried with wife Margaret b:2-3-1783
d:3-18-1823 in Stewartsville Cemetary in Maxton, North Carolina.
Margaret was daughter of Patrick and Mary McEachin, children: John,
Mary, Penelope, Ann McKinnis, Margaret McQueen.
James and Margaret were said to have gone north from North Carolina to
Virginia then back to North Carolina. They lived between John's
Station, N.C. and Laurinburg, N.C.
On another note, I would also like to know if there is anyone out there
who might have bought Tartan material they decided not to use and would
like to sell. I am interested in the Weathered Stewart Hunting. I'm
looking for material because I hope to wear a great kilt rather than the
standard pleated kilt.
Thank you all,
David
