I believe there is a Stewartsville in Indiana, in Posey county. I recall it
being a very small town, and when I wrote to a local historian there a few
years ago, I never got a reply. Does anyone know how this town got its name?
Is there some possible data there for those of us chasing STEWART lines?
If the town was founded by STEWARTs, are they related to the Clark county,
IN STEWARTs of the 1820's? I would like to learn more about Stewartsville.
