Hi Jean,
Elisha Stewart is in the Stewart Clan Magazine, pages A190 and A193. He
was the son of William and Elizabeth Stephens; William was the son of
Lieut. William of Stonington CT. He was indeed fighting in the

For the benefit of the List, anyone who has New England Stewarts is
almost bound to find information in the SCM, because that's the area the
editor started with. Most of it is in Tome A, though later discoveries
might be further on.
