Subject: Re: Stewart Wilson County TN query

I wondered if anyone recognized the following or was researching the
following Wilson County (Gladeville) TN family. I have hit a brick wall.
This is the family of George W. or G.W. Stewart (1851-1900 who died of a
reaction to a smallpox vaccination) and Lou Ella Webber Stewart (1853-1929).
They were from the Gladeville area of Wilson County. They had 11 children and
they raised some of the Webber siblings since the Webbers were orphaned at a
young age. On some of the government records the name is spelled Steward but
the family was consistent in spelling it Stewart. I don't know anything about
them before G.W. Stewart or of the Webber family either. The 11 kids were:
Benjamin Franklin Stewart 1877, Eugen Stewart (Gene) 1879, Wade Hampton
Stewart 1880; Charles Edgar Stewart 1881, Sallie Stewart Griffin 1883, Mary
Elizabeth Stewart (Lizzie) 1888, George Luther Stewart (Luther) 1890--I have
a picture of him and his wife taken in 1975, Grover Cleveland Stewart 1892
who married Cora Bell Bond, Josie Mai Stewart Trippe/Tripp who went to live
in Leeville--and who was my G Grandmother, Issac (IKE) Stewart 1896, and
Harry Stewart who eventually moved to Tyler/Dallas Texas area and who was
born in 1898. I also have transcriptions of who was buried in the Stewart
cemetary near Gladeville TN (WILSON COUNTY)
