DENNIS STEWART
Atwood - Private family services for Dennis M. Stewart, 51, of Atwood
will be held. Heilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Atwood, is in charge
of arrangements.
Mr. Stewart died at 3:25 a.m. Sunday (Sept. 23, 2001) at Carle
Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
He was born March 19, 1950, at Princeton, Ind., a son of Donald Max
and Mary Evelyn Andrews Stewart.
Surviving are his mother, Mary E. McGuire of Atwood; and two
brothers, Duane Stewart of Jefferson, Ga., and Dwight Stewart of
Sarver, Pa.
Mr. Stewart graduated from Champaign Centennial High School and
served in the Air Force. He was the store manager at Atwood Quality
Foods and worked at County Market, Champaign.
He was a member of the United Brethren Church, Mount Carmel, and was
an avid reader and scholar.

LEE STEWART
Urbana - Funeral services for Lee Stewart, 61, of Urbana will be at
10 a.m., Monday at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Road, U. The
Rev. Morris Christman will officiate. Burial will be in Arcola
Township Cemetery, Arcola.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Stewart died at 2:04 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 27, 2001) at home.
He was born Oct. 16, 1939, at Oakland, a son of Clarence Willis and
Alice Marie Buker Stewart. He married Eleanor Louise Bennett on
March 9, 1962, at San Diego. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Laura Stewart-Sharp of Champaign
and Teri Pittman of St. Joseph; two sisters, Louise Cook of Mahomet
and Shirley Schoonover of Wichita, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
Mr. Stewart attended Ludlow and Champaign schools. He was retired
from United Parcel Service after 23 years. He also designed and sold
ads for Thrifty Nickle for seven years. He served in the navy during
the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Harley Davidson ABATE, Mountain Man Reenactment,
Harley Davidson H.O.G., Champaign County Drag Racers and Greater
Champaign County AMBUCS. His hobbies included motorcycles,
computers, archery, photography and remote control cars.
