To all Listers,

Could someone please look up for me a STEWART family in Renfrewshire.

John STEWART was born on 16 March 1842 to Hugh STEWART (a farmer) and Margaret MORRISON. This is all the information I have on the parents. I don't know if John had any other siblings.

I searched the IGI and found a Hugh Stuart, chr. 26/12/1812 at Ayr, Scotland (his parents were Hugh Stewart and Minnie Marshal or Marshall) and he married a Margaret Morrison on 1 June 1832 at Neilston, Renfrew.

On John's marriage certificate, his parents are Hugh Stewart and Margaret Morrison of Renfrewshire. (John married Jane Livingstone in Queensland, Australia on 20 February, 1864)

Can anyone help me with this family?
