further to this,
if one goes to the BLM page www.glo.....etc,
and looks for charles stewart, i would submit you'll see two things (from
my research perspective):
a. charles stewart of pickens co, AL buying land frequently. according to
the
years for this, i would say this could be the rev charles
b. charles stewart of marion/fayette co buying land in 1822. this is
probably the
brother of solomon stewart, as rueben, larkin, solomon, charles, william,
and benjamin
all seemed to head for marion county starting in1820/21 and through
1823/1824, thence
at least solomon and benjamin migrating to tuscaloosa, and larkin to
marengo/greene.
thoughts anyone???
