With all of these references to Stewarts in Henrico Co. VA, thought I would
chime in with one of my own:
anyone know anything regarding a Lucy STEWART, allegedly married about 1648
to Major Wm Harris(b.c. 1629-36)of Curles Point, Henrico Co. VA? This Maj.
Wm Harris was supposedly killed by Indians on 20 April 1678, but I don't
know the circumstances.
In any event, this couple had another Wm Harris, b.c. 1672 Henrico and who
d. bef. 1750 in Louisa Co.(married Mary Giles).
Have no documentation for any of this, so I am treating it all as suspect
information until I can get it verified.
Regards,
Larry
