I am new to this list and am hoping that someone out there is researching Priscilla Stewart. She was born 20-05-1778 in Stonington, Connecticut to Nathan and Barbara Palmer Stewart. She married Noyes Wheeler (date unknown) also of Stonington. I believe that Noyes and Priscilla moved to Vermont (area unknown) where my great-grandfather Charles G. Wheeler was born May 23, 1804. They appear to have then moved to New York where Noyes purchased land in Brakel Township and then to Canada. Charles married Mary Dawson in 1838 at Talbot District, Norfolk, Ontario (Upper Canada). There are land records for Noyes and Charles in Ontario in 1841. I believe that Noyes and Priscilla later returned to New York. By 1849 Noyes purchased land in McHenry County, Illinois.

I am interested in connecting with anyone with information about this family. I am particularly interested in determining when and where Noyes and Priscilla married, names and birthdates (birthplaces) of their children, and where and when Noyes and Priscilla died. I have a lot of information regarding Charles and am willing to share if someone is interested.
