There is a William Stuard living one house away from a James Stuard who lives next door to Cornelius Stuard in Lawrence County, Illinois in the 1830 census. William is between 50-60, James and Cornelius are both between 20-30. I am trying to identify a William Stuard/Stuart/Stewart who married Johanna Barnett in Fauquier County Virginia February 14,1810, was in Lawrence County, IL in 1832 and died in MO in about 1837. This William's family seems to fit but if these are his sons they would have had to come from an earlier marriage, they may be brothers or otherwise related and moving with him. James married Charity Bullard 4/11/1830 and Cornelius married Sarah Bullard 3/5/1829 in Lawrence County IL. This area later became Richland County, IL. Does anyone have any information on any of these families?
