My great great grandmother was Anna Juliet Stipp b. 1 May 1856 Vermilion
Co., IL, d. 3 Oct 1942 Vermilion Co., IL. She married James Luther Martin 21
Feb 1883 Vermilion Co., IL.

Anna's parents were George Young Stipp b. 13 Apr 1826 Warren Co., OH, d. 23
Oct 1886 Vermilion Co., IL, and his first wife, America Adeline Smith b. 21
Nov 1831 Vermilion Co., IL and died 21 Jul 1870. They were married 11 Nov 1847
Vermilion Co., IL. George's second wife was Mary Eleanor Hewes b. 27 Apr
1849 Vermillion Co., IN, d. 24 Feb 1875. They were married 3 Feb 1871.
George's third wife was Elizabeth H. Hursey b. 18 Jul 1838 OH. They were married
14 Jan 1877 McLean Co., IL.

George's parents were George Stipp b. 6 Dec 1785 Berkeley Co., (W)VA, d. 16
Jan 1838 Vermilion Co., IL, and his wife, Mary Young, b. 8 Jun 1791 VA, d. 13
Oct 1853. They were married about 1810.

George's parents were Frederick Stipp b. 11 Apr 1759 Berks Co., PA, d. 1808
Berkeley Co., (W)VA, and his wife, Frances Coffinberry, b. about 1756 Berkeley
Co., (W)VA, d. 1848 Berkeley Co., (W)VA. They were married 22 Jun 1784
Berkeley Co., (W)VA.

Frederick's parents were John Frederick Steip b. about 1719 possibly in
Schoharie Co., NY, d. 6 Nov 1771 Frederick Co., VA, and his wife, Anna Barbara
Karcher b. 19 Aug 1722 Berks Co., PA, d. Frederick Co., VA. They were married
15 Apr 1745 Berks Co., PA.

This line is pretty well documented back to Frederick. John Frederick's
parents might be Martin Stupp and Anna Catherina Schultheis, but I have no
documentation on this.
