The following obituary appeared in the January 15, 2001, edition of the
Reading (Pennsylvania) Eagle/Times:

Helena M. Stout

Helena M. Stout, 83, formerly of Reading, died Sunday morning in Cape May
Care Center, Cape May Court House, N. J., where she had resided for about
one
year.
Her husband, John W. Stout, died in 1999.
She was born in West Reading.
Stout was employed by the Wide Awake Shirt Factory, Reading, until her
retirement.
She was a member of Cape May Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a stepson, John W., Barrington, R.I., and a stepdaughter,
Alice R. (Stout) Ganster, Long Valley, N.J.
There are also five stepgrandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Sudak-Danaher Funeral Home,
Cape May. Burial will be private.
