The following obituary appeared in the February 25, 2001, edition of the
Livingston County (Michigan) Daily Press & Argus:

DAVID STOUT
David Stout, 80, of Brighton, died Feb. 19 at McPherson Hospital.

He was born Jan. 23, 1921, in Detroit, the son of George and Agnes
(Phillips) Stout.
He married Margaret Tutt of June 1, 1943, in Oklahoma; she survives. He is
preceded in death by his son, David, in 1983.

Mr. Stout came to our community 64 years ago. He worked in the Brighton area
schools as a custodian and retired in 1983. He also served in the Army
during World
War II.

Surviving relatives include his wife; one daughter, Carolyn Gapske of
Lakeland Fla.; four grandsons. Cremation has taken place. Memorial
graveside will be set at a
later date.
Memorials in his name can be directed to the family. Envelopes are available
at the Herrmann Funeral Home.
