In the event that you might not as yet discovered Rootsweb's new
World Connect, you may be in for a surprise if you use your web
browser and check out the below sites:

then to search the data already uploaded to World Connect, just click
your mouse on:

Search The GEDCOM Data Currently Online

which will take you to:

http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi

Once there, just type in the surname and given name of one of our
STROUD family's cousins, or perhaps one of your family's ancestors,
and see what comes up. Once you have a chance to check this site
out, I venture to predict that you will likely wish to return, one or
more times thereafter! <G>

This site has only been in existence for a few months now, but the
opportunity it affords for each of us to be able to upload our own
GEDCOMs, and hopefully be able to eventually make contact with one,
or more other researchers for each of our own families, has excited
me about the opportunity this new resource affords, but as always,
verify, verify, VERIFY!
