Just popping onto the STROUD list hoping that someone maybe able to offer help. I am trying to help my cousin who has given up researching his STROUD family due to the lack of information he has. All he knows is that his grandfather was a STROUD from Kent in the UK. He married a French lady with the surname of DORMAN. She had run away from her home at Deauville in France and settled in England

Not a lot to go on I know. My best guess is that they were married in the 1890's.

I'm not expecting replies to come flooding in by who knows - if you don't ask.........

Any leads on the name STROUD in Kent would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.
