John W. Stroud mustered Aug. 19, 1862 and died from brain fever Dec. 7, 1862

He was of East Fallowfield Twnshp, Chester Co. PA when he married Emma C.
Ricker of Salisbury township, Lancaster Co. on Nov. 15, 1855. They had two
children:

Joshua Harry b. Nov. 10, 1857
Wesley Frederick b. Aug. 12, 1859
