Subject: Strouds in Pennsylvania

I recently got some books on taxation and militia fines in some counties in Pennsylvania and I found the following Stroud, Stroude. In Northamapton County: Col. Jacob, Jacob 2 times. In Chester County: James, Samuel, Richard 2 times, Jofeph. I am sure there are more as all the names are spelled phonicly. The militia fines are for missing exercise and other reasons. The time period is 1777 thru 1784.
