Does anyone know of an Edon or Elam Stroud or have either name in your
Strouds even up to the present time? I'm searching for William Samuel
Stroud's (b. abt 1811) parents. The only Stroud in the Edgefield County, SC
area at that time re SC census was what looked like Edon Stroud. It is very
hard to read. William Samuel married Clarissa Harling, dau of Michael and
Nancy Polattie Harling.
