Hi All,

I am looking for info regarding Charles' father Robert. Robert married a Margaret Dixon in 1772 in Dalton in Furness. Robert died in 1797 and is buried in Walney Chapel. Robert had 9 children, the first son being a William who died aged 16(approx) and he later named a second son William - this suggests that his fathers name was also William. I also believe that Roberts mother was an Elizabeth (maybe Strickland).
If anyone can help identify Roberts parents it would be appreciated
