Hi Alan, I am also searching the Stuart line and have been for many
years - I have a full sheet of Stuart info that I could send you but too
much to copy e-mail. Please send me your home address. Most of my
references are before your Elizabeth b. 1840 but this is a very common name
in the line and maybe you can find a connect. My 3x great grandfather was
Capt. John Stuart who fought in the Rev. and I was able to join the SAR
through him. He married Elizabeth "Bettie" Walker b. 1745.
Best regards, Thomas Price Smith, Dixon , IL <>

would make sense to post the information and so preserve it in the Rootsweb
board.

know that there is a problem in my line but I always wonder if some one else
shares the same secrets. My great grandmother was Elizabeth Stuart. Age and
associated people seem to suggest Greenbrier Va. as the location. She was
born about 1840. My great grandfather died as a result of his participation
in the Civil War and she chose to keep her maiden name and for her son as
well.
