Date: Thu, 18 May 2006 20:51:28 -0700 (PDT)

Hi all,
I wanted to share this as some of you are also from
the Samuel Stewart-Lydia Harriosn line our of Rowan
and Surry CO. As you can see, John Stewart son of
Samuel and Lydia was still in Surry CO NC at this date
NOT in Scott CO VA as many proclaim. He is enumerated
with his step son, Loving Bledsoe. John`s wife was
Susanna Fulkerson Bledsoe, widow of Thomas Bledsoe.
The 1774 tax list from Martin Armstrongs district
shows: Nathaniel, Charles and William. I kow Nathaniel
and Charles are mine, William may be the one who
married Lorena Lacefield in Rowan CO NC 1769. The
tithables includes head of household 21 years or older
plus all white polls 16 and over.
