Some of these deeds have confused me a bit. Anywone
from a Rowan Co line that could help? See my notes
below each.

14. pg 65, 5:445, 29 Feb 1764, John Stewart & wife
Susasah Bledsoe to Wm Robertson of Antrim Parish,
Halifax Co Va for 60lb VA $, 300 acres on E side
middle fork of Tarrarat River granted to Frederrick
Fulkerson 9 May 1757. Jacob Lash, Abraham Gammerons,
Prvd March Court 1764.

**This is John son of Samuel and Lydia Stewart born
ca 1732-1735, he married the widow Susanna Fulkerson
Bledsoe abt 1760-1761. She was the widow of Thomas
Bledsoe who died on the Dan River in an Indian raid,
ca 1758. She was the daughter of Frederick Fulkerson,
all this land was given to her in her widowhood by her
father.

15. pg 83, 6:302, 26 Oct 1765 John STewart & wife
Susanah (S) to Henry Menadue for 30 lb proc, 200 acres
part of 500 acres grant Frederick Fulkerson 9 May 1756
& sold to Susanah Stewart in her widowhood as Susanah
Bledsoe. Prvd Oct court 1766.

16. pg 87, 6:425, 4 Mar 1767 John (A) Stewart & wife
Mary (X) to Andrew Furguson of Orange COunty NC for
10lb sterling 200 acres adj Andrew Ballie bought from
Ballie 25 Jan 1763 who got it from Granville 21 Dec
1761. Prvd Oct 1767.

** Andrew Ballie never lived in NC nor the USA he was
from Ireland and a land speculator. WHO is this John
and Mary?????? I cannot place this Andrew Ferguson in
Orange CO NC.

17. pg 101, 7:126, 5 Sept 1769 John (X) STewart & wife
Ann (X) to Martin Armstrong for 100 proc, 390 acres on
both sides of Tarrarat River granted 10 Aug 1762.
Henry Manadue, Lawrence Stewart Prvd Sept 1769.

**** Is this John and Susannan above??? Who is
Lawrence Stewart, he is nowhere to be found,this has
to be a typo.

*** Is this the same John Stuart and wife Susanna who
sold land on Bradley`s Creek, Halifax CO VA in 1764 to
John Milam? Susanna`s father was at the time living
in Halifax CO VA but, no Fulkerson witnessed the deed.
The land was bought by John ca 1762 or 1763 from
Thomas Hodges and wife. ****
