The following was taken from Family Tree Maker CD181, English Origins of New
England Families, Series I, Vol 2 Genealogical Gleanings in England -

THOMAS PAYNE of Boxsted, Suffolk County, Yeoman. His will was dated February
2, 1544/5. Thomas and his wife Alice had the following heirs: Richard, John,
William (mentioned also in the wills of Roger and Giles Payne (brothers of
Thomas?). William had issue: Elizabeth, John, Bartholomew, Edward, and Anne;
Alice (Thomas' daughter); and Robert, a clothier by trade. Robert had a wife
name Margaret. Their issue was Richard, Thomas, and John.
John married a Margery and his children were: Walter, executor of his
father's will; John, Ambrose, Thomas, William, Martha, Dorothy, and Richard,
overseer of his father's will.

County, England. Married May 14, 1573, and died November 24, 1589 in
Lavenham, Suffolk County, England ... children of this marriage were William,
Elizabeth, Rose, Martha, Suzanne and Thomas. Grandson of John Hammond and
Agnes Garrold) on June 9, 1605
in Lavenham, Suffolk County, England. William Paine Died: October 8, 1662 in
